Our client is a highly respected firm of Chartered Accountants who pride themselves on providing an outstanding service to their clients and creating a supportive working environment for their staff. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their team in East Sussex.

Working with a portfolio of SME clients, your main responsibilities will include:

- Preparation of sole trade, partnership and company accounts from client records
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Preparation of tax computations
- Preparation and submission of company tax returns

This would be a great opportunity for someone who has gained some experience within an Accountancy Practice who is looking to take the next step in their career and gain more exposure to Accounts and Tax work.

To be considered, applicants will need to part or fully qualified AAT and have recent experience gained within an Accountancy Practice. You will also have a desire to learn and be able to demonstrate great communication skills as you will be frequently dealing with clients.

Please note - my client is currently operating a hybrid working model but you will need to commute to the office twice a week.
