KCS Transport Ltd are an established family run Haulage company that operates its own modern fleet of Trucks and Trailers, and we operate a Maintenance Repair facility within the Tarmac site in West Aberthaw for both its own and customers fleets

We are seeking to recruit a Workshop Controller
- Planner and the job hours are based on a Monday to Friday role (40 hours per week) We are willing to discuss at the Interview stage the options of a reduced day-hour role that may suit a working parent or someone who wants to work reduced hours.

Experience of working within a Transport-Workshop environment is preferred and a background in sourcing parts is required.

Daily Roles include:
Raising Job cards and costings on a bespoke computer system,

Raising invoices and chasing down authorities for job costings.

Liaising with a small team of technicians the requirements required within the workshop

Identifying parts and consumables for vehicle repairs

Ordering from the approved suppliers any required parts and consumables

Organising any part returns and credit notes with suppliers

Booking customer vehicles in advance and MOT bookings on the fleet of vehicles

Assisting in answering the telephones in a timely manner and assisting the Operations Team in other administration roles

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£31,200.00 per year
