Job Title: Temporary Painter and Decorator

Location: Secure Environment Site, Tidworth, UK

**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Assist in preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.

3. Assist in selecting and mixing paints to match colors and ensure consistency.

4. Aid in repairing cracks, holes, and other surface imperfections prior to painting.

5. Help cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection during painting.

6. Work alongside other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects.

7. Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times, adhering to the security protocols of the site.

8. Assist in maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition.

9. Keep work areas clean and organized within the secure environment.

10. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently while maintaining site security measures.

**Requirements**:
1. Some experience in painting and decorating preferred.

2. Basic knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials.

3. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team within a secure environment.

4. Attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

7. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

8. Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines, security protocols, and regulations of the secure environment site.

9. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

10. Relevant certifications or qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds Painting and Decorating, NVQ Level 1 in Painting and Decorating) a plus but not required.

This is a temporary position with the potential for extension based on project needs within the secure environment site.
