**Responsibilities**:

- Build relationships with customers, understand their needs, and ensure correct product selection
- Process orders, raise invoices, and take payments
- Maximize sales opportunities and customer satisfaction
- Maintain a tidy and well-stocked trade counter/showroom
- Manage warehouse including restocking and cleaning and reorder as needed
- Check and manage deliveries, report any issues
- Use vehicles appropriately for deliveries and maintain them according to guidelines
- Liaise with suppliers and buyers as needed
- Complete administrative duties as required
- Occasionally lift heavy items

**Skills, Knowledge, and Experience**:

- Experience in the industry preferred but not required, Trade Counter experience within a Plumbers Merchchant is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to use computer systems
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of plumbing/building sector desirable

**Licence/Certification**:
Driving Licence preferred

**Location**:
In-person in Shefford.
