Telemarketer
Overview:
Denaploy is a local company based at the Innovation Centre. Since 1989 we have traded extremely successfully within a niche segment of the Construction Industry.
We compile O&M (Operations and Maintenance) manuals on behalf of Building Contractors, who outsource the task to us. (It is a legal requirement that, at the end of a building project when the contractor hands the building over to their client, an O&M manual must be provided).
Nationwide, we have a number of competitors but by far the most common “competitor” is companies undertaking the somewhat odious task in-house, doing it themselves.
We are seeking a confident individual with a strong telephone manner/presence to undertake a telemarketing exercise, one day a week, possibly two, 9-5, Tuesday or Thursdays, depending on results. We will be embarking on a Tele-Marketing exercise in order to elicit basic information from relevant construction companies, which will then be followed-up by the Sales operation. Basic scripts would be provided but it would be advantageous if the operative used their natural commonsense and was able to adapt varying conversations as required.
**Responsibilities**:
The type of information we need to secure would be, for example:
Principally: Name and contact details of the person responsible for O&M requirements.
Thereafter, ancillary information, if the contact is happy to provide such as:
- Whether they currently outsource
- Problems / Issues with their current situation
- Number of projects undertaken annually and value thereof
- Would they welcome a product demonstration
- And so on
It is not a “hard sell” environment, generally people are quite pleased to receive the call as they are being offered a service they actually want, much of the time
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills in English
Ability to effectively communicate product information
Experience in telemarketing would be advantageous
Denaploy has a young, friendly team of operatives that split their time between being based at home or office with, normally, there being three or four people in the office on a daily basis.
Basic pay would be Minimum Wage according to age with a results-based bonus, to be determined once the process commences.
