The University of Edinburgh is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Head of Reporting to lead the monitoring, evaluation, benefits realisation, and impact assessment of the Data-Driven Innovation (DDI) programme within the Edinburgh and South-East Scotland City Region Deal.

**Your skills and attributes for success**:

- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., data science, economics, public policy, business administration, or a related discipline).
- Previous experience in monitoring and evaluation, impact assessment, programme management, or a related field, preferably in a university, government, or large-scale research setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in the design and implementation of monitoring, evaluation, and impact assessment frameworks and tools, as well as strong quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills to drive program improvement and informed decision-making.
- Excellent IT skills, including spreadsheets (e.g., Excel) and databases.
- Excellent people management skills and ability to work effectively with diverse internal and external partners, provide leadership, and influence decision-making in non-hierarchical organizational structures.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a proven ability to analyse problems, propose, and implement solutions.
- Experience of working independently and dealing with unforeseen problems and circumstances where there is a need to prioritise competing commitments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing the post-holder to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders and convey complex information in a clear and concise manner. Skilled in distilling large amounts of information into executive summaries with evidence-based, actionable recommendations, and presenting these to a range of stakeholders.
