As part of our Horizon Growth Strategy, we are increasing our Supply Chain capacity and hiring for a new Buyer to join our team. The Buyer will ensure timely and efficient procurement of all goods and services in accordance with Andor’s growing demand to meet customer’s needs on time every time.

**Duties will include**:
timely order placement, order expediting, maintenance of delivery dates, communicating with Production
Control and reduction of costs, ensuring best value is obtained from suppliers, negotiating prices/commercial terms

**Supplier measurement and management**: interacting with suppliers on pricing; delivery; performance against targets, assisting Senior Purchasing Officer with on-time delivery measurement and addressing supplier performance issues. Ownership of relationship with assigned suppliers.

**The Buyer will have**:
3rd level qualification and 2 years' experience in a purchasing/buyer role OR 5 years' experience in a purchasing/buyer role
Strong IT skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills

This permanent position is based on a hybrid model at our Belfast headquarters.
