Assistant Cook

We have an opportunity for you to be part of our catering
team providing healthy wholesome dishes made from locally sourced fresh
produce.
NYES is a ‘fresh food’ organisation encouraging children and

We are recruiting an Assistant Cook to join our friendly team
at Ermysteds Grammar School, Gargrave road, Skipton.

In the role of Assistant Cook you will be supporting the
Cook/Catering Manager in delivering an effective catering service operating to
the highest standards of food safety.
On a daily basis you will be preparing, cooking and serving
meals to pupils and staff as well as other kitchen management duties such as
stocktaking.

In addition, you will be required to carry out the full duties of
the Cook/Catering Manager as and when needed and you will assist in advising
and training staff as well as implementing change where necessary.
You will be a valued member of a friendly team who is
reliable, dependable, and committed to providing tasty nutritious meals working
from 7:15am to 2pm totalling 33.75 hours per week over 5 days. No weekend work
You will work term time weeks only however you will receive equal monthly payments
throughout the year. For this you will
be paid £10.98 per hour in addition to annual holiday and Bank Holiday
entitlement.
