Software Test Engineer - Cypress

**Role Purpose**

My client is looking to add to an experienced team of 6 working on the core business management systems, web sites and apps. Working with Visual Studio.NET technologies, Team Foundation Server/DevOps, Microsoft SQL Server, REST web services, Xamarin on Linux, Windows, Android and iOS/OSX. Developing automatic testing, continuous integration, bug fixing for internal departments and external customers.

**Key Tasks**
- Performing manual testing and updating documentation.
- Building automated tests from manual test documents and building a testing strategy for our products and services.
- Building automated tests from user stories, use cases, new requirements, and existing codebase.
- Raising defects/bugs using Microsoft DevOps and working with our development team.
- Executing and building continuous integration and continuous deployment techniques for all software products and services.
- Ensuring quality of production software.

**Experience Required**
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 Years commercial experience.
- Cypress
- Previous experience in.NET and Microsoft DevOps.
- Programming Languages C#.NET, MSTest v2.0 essential.
- Knowledge of technologies such as front-end frameworks, Angular, REST web services, SASS, GIT, TFS.
- Knowledge of continuous integration, automatic testing techniques, unit testing, Integration testing.

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Chesterfield
