**We are looking for 3 x Production Operatives to join our press team**

**Hours of Work: 40 per week, including 1x30 minute paid break per day.**

**Week 1 - 7am-3pm**

**Week 2 - 11pm - 7am**

**Week 3 - 3pm - 11pm**

**ROLE PURPOSE**:
**To carry our all tasks to assist the company with meeting their objectives whilst adhering to safety, quality, and people standards.**

**Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:
**Environment, Health & Safety**
- Adhere to all PPE requirements
- Follow all Health, Safety, Security Environmental, Energy (HSSEE) process and regulations
- Report any HSSEE issues to Team Leader
- Be aware of First Aiders
- Be aware of Health and Safety obligations
- Be aware of Fire evacuation procedures
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and assist in housekeeping audits
- Contribution to reporting of IFE’s (a minimum of one per quarter)
- Contribution to WOCs (Walk, Observe, Communicate)

**Meet Production Requirements**
- Actively carry out TPM activities for which you have been trained
- Meet production targets and report deviations to the targets when required.
- Follow production instructions, OPL’s (One Point Lessons), SOP (Standard Operational Procedures) and customer requirements.
- Report activity as per position requirement.
- Maintain Production standards including Housekeeping Level.

**Quality Systems**
- Understand basic quality requirements
- Ensure use of SOP’s, OPL’s and production instructions
- Understand basic product knowledge

**Continuous Improvement**
- Be involved in Continuous Improvement activities as they arise
- Promote continuous improvement in the daily activities and process optimization
- Be aware of opportunities to reduce costs / Improve quality and escalate to line manager

**Organise Resources**
- Escalate to Shift Manager any shortfalls or imbalances
- Participate in overtime as required
- Comply with all time and attendance targets
- Maintain high standards of individual housekeeping and 5s

**People Development**
- Assist/participate in Induction programmes for new starters
- Take part in annual appraisal
- Ensure that whenever possible your training needs are being met

**WORK EXPERIENCE**
- Appreciation and some understanding of the manufacturing industry,

**EDUCATION & SPECIFIC SKILLS**

**(Incl. Languages)**
- Good English skills both orally and written
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
