JOB TITLE; DOMESTIC LAUNDRY ASSISTANT PART TIME REQUIRED

MAIN PURPOSE; TO MAINTAIN A HIGH LEVEL OF HYGIENE

RESPONSIBLE TO; MANAGER / PROPRIETOR

CRITERIA;
- TO CARRY OUT INSTRUCTIONS IN RELATION TO RETAINING STANDARDS OF HEALTH AND SAFETY AS SET OUT IN THE HOMES HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY OF THE HOME.
- TO ENSURE THAT ALL EQUIPMENT USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF YOUR JOB ROLE ARE USED AS TO THE MANUFACTURES GUIDELINES AND REPORT ANY DEFECTS TO THE MANAGER AND RECORD ON THE DAILY MAINTENANCE SHEETS.
- TO ENSURE THAT ALL CHEMICALS USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF YOUR JOB ROLE ARE USED IN ACCORDENCE WITH THE DATA SHEETS AND C.O.S.H.H.REGULATIONS.
- TO ATTEND ALL MANDATORY AND IN HOUSE TRAINING.
- TO CARRY OUT ALL DUTIES AS REQUESTED BY THE PERSON IN CHARGE.
- MUST UPHOLD ALL POLICIES AND PRECEDURES OF THE HOME.
- TO BE AWARE OF ALL HEALTH AND SAFETY PRECEDURES AND TO RECORD AND REPORT ANY ACCIDENTS
- TO WEAR THE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING PROVIDED, AND TO DISPOSE OF PROTECTIVE CLOTHING IN THE CORRECT MANER.
- TO FOLLOW ALL INFECTION CONTROL POLICY AND PROCEDURES OF THE HOME
- TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE RELEVENT PERSONS BOTH MANAGEMENT AND SENIOR.
- TO MAINTAIN CONFIDENTIALITY OF INFORMATION REGARDING RESIDENTS, STAFF AND THE BUSINESS.

ROLE

IRONING OF RESIDENTS PERSONAL CLOTHING AND HOUSEHOLD LAUNDRY TO A HIGH STANDARD

HANG CLOTHES ON COATHANGERS ACCORDINGLY, ENSURING CLOTHES WHICH NEED REPAIRING ARE REPAIRED.

ENSURE CLOTHES ARE MARKED WITH RESIDENTS NAME AND ROOM NO. AND THAT THEY ARE PACKED AWAY IN RESIDENTS PERSONAL BASKETS AND DELIVERED TO THEIR ROOMS.

ANY OTHER DUTIES RELATING TO JOB ROLE
