We are working with a leading professional membership and qualification body to appoint an Assessment Coordinator.

This is a fixed term position initially for 6 months (until 30th Nov 2023), and you will be required to work full time, 35 hours per week. There is a hybrid working system in place - attendance in the London office will be required 1-2 days per week. The salary for this role is £34984 p.a.

The role

You will be joining a team of Assessment Coordinators that are integral to ensuring the timely delivery and effectiveness of assessments to students. Sitting within the Education and Development Division, you will be assisting the Assessment Design Manager in the full life cycle of developing and maintaining new assessments. Within the division there is a huge amount of expertise, plus an excellent internal training programme.

The team is very busy and heavily involved with crucial company-wide projects, and this is an exciting time to be joining, as new qualifications and a new assessment platform have launched recently.

In this rewarding and dynamic role, you will work closely with Subject Matter Experts to ensure assessments are designed in line with best practice. Key tasks will include assisting with preparing and working to schedules, quality assurance checks on content and functionality of the assessment platform, providing content query support for internal and external customers and regularly reviewing assessments.

About you

To be considered for the role you will have the following essential skills, knowledge, and experience:

- Previous experience working for an awarding body in exams or assessments
- Experience in editing and proofreading
- High attention to detail
- Strong customer-orientated focus
- Ability to manage your own workload as well as work effectively as part of a team
- Demonstrable prioritisation and time management skills
- Good knowledge of MS packages, including Excel and PowerPoint
