We are a gender neutral, judgment free salon located in the heart of the Bedminster Community, who have won awards for our creativity and are looking at expanding our amazing team further

As a Hair Apprentice with us, you will gain valuable skills to support you in starting out your journey in hair. You will gain in salon experience, as well as complete your Level 2 with a certified training provider. We encourage learning on real hair and real people, and so regularly hold in house training sessions with models so that you can develop at a fast pace and start to build up your own client base ready for when you qualify.

The Apprentice role is varied and high energy, involving assisting with the upkeep of the salon and cleaning, looking after clients, carrying out hairdressing services and assisting the styling team with their clients. You will develop valuable practical experience by working in a salon environment and being exposed to a high standard of professional hairdressing on a day to day basis.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about hair, positive and self motivated to join our team and can keep up with our fast paced environment We are a fun friendly dynamic team who are united in our passion for creating a great salon experience for our guests. You must be able to work weekends and holidays.

**Other Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Working towards achieving a hairdressing qualification at the highest of standards - Completing studies and keeping on target with learning.
- Providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
- Assisting the senior team to deliver excellent salon services & experience to our clients.
- Engaging positively with clients and promoting a positive image of yourself and the salon.
- Greeting and prepping clients in readiness for hairdressing services.
- Preparing tools, equipment and products for the styling team.
- Carrying out shampooing, conditioning treatments, removing colours, and any other tasks deemed suitable under supervision, if required.
- Making and serving refreshments to our clients.
- Keeping up to date with Product and Service knowledge to allow for upselling, promoting and answer any customer queries, as well as make recommendations to guests for take home retail.
- Ensuring the salon is safe, clean and tidy throughout the working day.
- Completing End of Day Closedown checks and reporting.
- Supporting the Hair and Business Teams with any administrative tasks, such as recording notes from consults and appointment notes.
