Traffic Marshall

As a Traffic Marshall, you will be monitoring a site that checks the movements of goods. The lorries must go to their closest border force before they leave the country, ensuring that all goods are legal, and all documentation is correct. Drivers must dothe same when coming back into the country; before they can drop off the goods they must come to site and check that the goods are correct, and they have all the correct documentation. This particular inland border force is the largest in the UK, and so officersmust be prepared for a busy working environment. Please note this position requires you to work outside, however full weatherproof uniform is supplied.

**Rate:£ 10.10per** **hour**

**Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off ( 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off) 12 hours shifts**

Main duties:

- Guide drivers around the site to the correct place
- Ensure traffic flow is consistent and does not create a delay
- Ensuring drivers are aware of what they need to do
- Help drivers park correctly

- Must have 5 year checkable work history and 3 year minimum residency criteria
