- We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and energetic teacher leader to join our ‘world class school’.
- Albany Academy is a highly successful and popular 11-16 school situated in Chorley, Lancashire. With 725 pupils currently on roll, the school provides an excellent education within a nurturing and caring environment where every student is well known by every member of staff.

**Essential Qualifications**
- Qualified teacher status
- National Award for SEN Co-ordination, or a willingness to complete it within 3 years of appointment

**Desirable Qualifications**
- Degree
- NPQ

**Essential Experience**
- Experience of working at a whole-school level
- Involvement in self-evaluation and development planning
- Experience of conducting training/leading INSET

**Desirable Experience**
- Experience of using evidence based approaches to SEND and teaching
