Operations Coordinator

**About the role**
The operations coordinator is to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Operations department. They play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations, maximizing efficiency, and contributing to the overall success of the organization's operational activities.
**Key Responsibilities will include**:
- Collaborating with other departments to coordinate activities, resolve issues, and ensure smooth interdepartmental operations. Monitor internal order progress and review on a regular basis with the appropriate teams.
- Co-ordinate with 3rd party manufacturers to ensure orders are delivered on time and in line with customer expectations.
- Serving as a liaison between service and production, communicating objectives and changes effectively.
- Contributing to effective communication and teamwork within the team and promoting a positive work culture.
- Collaborating with quality assurance teams to address quality-related issues and continuously improve processes.
- Reporting and Documentation
- Communicating critical information on our global communication platform which contributes to our overall sales revenue targets being achieved. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation for operations and customer shipments.
**Essential Skills & Experience**:
- Communication: Strong communication skills are essential to effectively interact with team members, management, and other departments. This includes active listening, clear and concise verbal and written communication, and the ability to articulate expectations, instructions, and feedback.
- Problem-solving: Operations co-ordinators should possess strong problem-solving skills to identify issues, analyse root causes, and develop effective solutions.
- Organization and Planning: Strong organizational abilities are crucial for an Operations Coordinator. They should be adept at managing multiple tasks, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Quality & Risk awareness: Ensuring compliance with standards and regulations and contributing to a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Adaptability: Adaptable and able to handle changes and challenges in a dynamic operational environment. This involves being flexible in adjusting plans, managing unexpected situations, and quickly adapting to new technologies or market demands.
- Effective time management skills is necessary to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities efficiently.
- Sage 200, SAP or other relevant ERP software.
