Hgv2 Tanker/hiab Driver

** HGV2 Driver Needed **

Our client based in Ampthill, Bedford and looking for a HGV2 driver to join their team.

You will be an effective member of the team providing a high-quality service to customers and support to the depot whilst representing the company and upholding the company’s values at all times. The main responsibility is driving tanker to connect to porta loss, systems at events and sites to suction waste and replace water. Not dirty job all you have to do is drive and connect the pipe. All training will be provided so no experience needed.

Minimum of 9 hours paid per shift

**Shifts**: Monday - Friday (starting from 6am) - this role can be offered as ongoing, temp to perm or straight permanent with the company.

**Pay**: £15.50 for first 9 hours, £22.50 overtime hours

**Main Responsibilities: All training and PPE will be given**
- Emptying septic tanks, portable mains connected toilets and chemical toilets, disposing of such waste in the correct manner.
- Ensuring all necessary Company paperwork is completed in the correct manner to avoid disputes at a later date i.e. signatures obtained for time of delivery / collection, damage sustained or missing plant.
- Driving company vehicles in a safe, courteous and responsible manner, including operating within the necessary transport regulations with regard to driving hours and operating tachograph (where necessary) according to Ministry of Transport requirements.
- Checking company vehicles before use and driving in a safe and courteous manner, along with timely reporting of any vehicle defects.
- Reporting any accidents (person, property or vehicles) via the Accident / Incident report system.

**Requirements for the role**:

- You must have an in date CPC and Tacho card
- You can not have anymore than 3 points on your license
- Experience driving HGV2 is desired but new passes are welcome
- You must have good verbal and written communication skills.

**Salary**: £15.50-£22.50 per hour
