Horticultural Worker

Grasslands Nursery is probably the biggest tree and shrub nursery in the north of England. This year we have increased our production and sales again. We need more staff in the plant growing and maintenance areas. The job is physically demanding and we are always busy.

The work will involve lifting and potting shrubs, pruning and feeding plants, maintaining the health of all the shrubs and trees on the nursery.

There are also opportunities for promotion within the company.

You need to be :Fit and reasonably strong
- A pleasant demeanour and able to work as part of a team
- Willing to work in all weathers inside and outdoor
- Want to work with plants and learn about how they grow.

This year the starting rate is £12 per hour.

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
