**The Role - Area Sales Manager - Luton**

This is a field based sales role based in Luton working as an **Area Sales Manager** for **Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions.**

**Is this role right for me?**

First and foremost, we always want to recruit talented people that align well with our values and way of working; so you don't need to have experience in sales as we have a comprehensive training programme in place for everyone that joins us, but what isimportant is the ability to deliver customer experience excellence.

What we are looking for is someone with;
- Experience in a role delivering face to face customer service or sales, but more importantly who will do everything in their power to meet customer requirements
- Geographically based in the area they will cover
- Responsive to opportunities and problems, and are curious and supportive to implementing new ideas
- Someone who communicates easily and clearly with the team and our customers
- Someone with an eagerness to learn and participate, and continually develop
- Organised, agile, self-motivated and focused.
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Project management experience would be beneficial

**What will I be doing in the role?**

The purpose of this role is to develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers to enable you to successfully achieve your sales plan in your agreed geographical area. To increase profitable market share through offering new and existing solutions,working as a team work across wider business to deliver excellent customer experience.

You will work collaboratively with your customer base:

- Strengthening specialist Sub-Contractor relationships through the facilitation of project specifications and discretionary opportunities towards an increasing conversion rates of using our solutions.
- Visiting distributors and key merchants (branches and sales personnel) regularly to support the Sales Development Plans.
- Work in conjunction with the Business Development team to support Supply Chain Agreements to ensure the appropriate contact is provided to deliver commercial support to your customers at the tender stage ensuring site compliance with our solutions.

You will use our CRM system to manage customer projects and facilitate conversation rates on project specifications as well as to record, monitor and manage company contact and actions.
