Arable Operator

We are seeking a hard-working, trustworthy and positive person to join our progressive arable and finishing cattle business based near Kelso in the Scottish Borders.

Farming 1800 arable acres, main shared responsibilities will include:

- Primary cultivation
- Drilling
- Spraying

You will be able to work to a high standard both individually and as part of a team. Mechanical experience or an understanding is desirable as you will be required to maintain and upkeep machinery.

Winter duties will include:

- feeding and bedding cattle
- ploughing
- digger work
- maintenance along with other general farm duties.

- Trustworthy
- Full driving licence essential
- Combine experience an advance
- Interest in cattle would be an advantage

A competitive employment package will be offered based on experience and a 3 bedroom bungalow is available on the farm.

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
