**Receptionist**

25-35 hours per week

Location - Fitzalan Medical Centre and Wick Surgery

Permanent Contract

Rate of Pay £9.50 per hour reviewed after probation period

**The Practice**:
Fitzalan Medical Group is an NHS general medical services (GMS) practice, with a registered patient list of around 16,000 patients. The practice is an independent business owned and operated by a partnership of two Doctors and a
Managing Partner. It has a supporting staff of salaried doctors, nurses, healthcare assistants, paramedic practitioners, pharmacists, clerical staff and managers. In all there are around 60 members of staff. The Receptionists are the frontline link between patients and clinicians, providing essential support to the administrative functions of the practice.

**The Role**:
We currently use a digital platform called Accurx which is accessible via our website. This service allows patients to contact the practice at their convenience and aims to reduce calls into the surgery, enabling us to communicate with all patients in a more efficient way.

The work is covered on a weekly rota basis, between the hours of 8:00am and 6.30pm Monday - Friday. Each Receptionist is required to work either from 8am or until 6.30pm dependent on their contracted daily shift pattern.
