The Cleveland Police area is extremely varied geographically and includes the North York Moors, Howardian Hills, Roseberry Topping and the River Tees. From the mouth of the River Tees the coast of Cleveland has a superb mixture of scenery ranging from extraordinary industrial landscapes and Victorian seaside towns to picturesque coastal villages and dramatic coastal cliffs. The area is surrounded by spectacular countryside and vibrant market towns which are rich with industrial history and heritage. The Cleveland Police patch is also home to big business, hosting the largest chemical complex in the UK, a growing regional airport and some of the globe’s biggest chemical manufacturers.
- Experience as a substantive Superintending ranked officer, having successfully completed the SPNAC and the SCC
- An ability to understand the challenges faced by our communities in order to deliver truly victim focused services
- Personal commitment, high professional and ethical standards and a real desire to make a difference to the communities we serve
