We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced STE04 Structure Examiner to join a Civil Engineering organisation as part of their Rail division.
As a Structure Examiner you will be responsible for accurate examinations, gathering information relating to condition and situation of rail structures and using technical documentation for NR examination standards.

Your responsibilities will include;
- Undertaking accurate examinations regarding condition and situations of rail structures using company documentation for reference.
- Recording and reporting examination results, using site notes, sketches and photographs
- Conducting recon visits as and when required and providing resource plans to include proposed methods of working with labour and plant estimates
- Produce examination reports accurately reflecting and detailing structure integrity
- Recognition of and dealing with serious defects which pose threats to public or rail traffic

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure sociable, full time hours Monday to Friday.
You will be working a standard 40 hour week with potential to take overtime. An immediate start is available.

**You will need;**
- Degree qualified Civil Engineer or Certified Bridge Inspection/Examination course
- Experience within Rail Industry / Civil Engineering
- Demonstratable experience managing delivery of multi discipline projects
- Experience undertaking STE04 duties
- PTS / COSS / IWA is desirable
