Mitigation Co-ordinator

**We currently have a vacancy for a Mitigation Coordinator. The role will be based at our Foxbridge Logistics Centre in Normanton, Wakefield.**

**What will the role involve?**

Your role will involve working as part of a small team to continually improve our business process and manage our pump mitigation process throughout Yorkshire water. Whilst ensuring value for money is gained from our suppliers.

You will be responsible for taking enquiries into Foxbridge Logistics Centre capturing detailed information to ensure correct solution is sourced. This will be with either Yorkshire Water assets or services hired in through our contract partners.

You will liaise with our internal and external stakeholders with a view to develop better ways of working and increase the efficiency of our processes and procedures.

You will develop an excellent network of contacts, both within our business and with our suppliers.

You will help coordinate the workload for both the delivery of internal and external service. This will be achieved by utilising Yorkshire Waters assets. This involves planning in work, processing goods and working closely with various teams within Yorkshire Water to ensure we get it right first time.

**What skills are we looking for?**

You will be an excellent communicator and team player with a good telephone manner and excellent interpersonal skills.

You will have a strong background within administration and be able to demonstrate a keen eye for detail, within a fast-paced environment.

You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft office packages especially Microsoft Excel and will be well organised with a good eye for detail and can manage your own workload and to work on own initiative.

Experience of SAP is preferable but not essential.

If successful for the role, you will be required to undergo pre employment checks that will include a Basic Disclosure Check, carried out through a Third Party Company, prior to commencing employment. Depending on the role, you may also be required to go through the security vetting process for either a Counter Terrorist Check or Security Check clearance.
