Assembly Worker

We are currently looking for an engineer to join our friendly team and assist in the remanufacture of electronic car parts.

ACtronics in Colchester, specialises in re-building faulty components such as ABS-Units, ECUs, Instrument Clusters, Throttle Bodies and TCUs to a standard that is equal to buying new. In the last 15 years we have had great success and therefore we can proudly say that we are the market-leading remanufacture company for car electronics.

In this role, your duties will include:

- Using our in-house developed software to test customer’s parts, identifying any faults.
- Using specialised machinery to open the unit.
- Remanufacturing by repairing/replacing all the weak components, not just those that are defective, to create a higher quality, longer lasting part.
- End of line tests for quality assurance.
- Building up stock reserves.
- Willingness to develop new skills
- Problem solving and troubleshooting
- Good communication
- Ability to work both within a team and alone
- Effective time management
- Safety conscious
- Experience of soldering (PCB level)

A starting salary of £20,000 - £24,000 per annum depending on experience
