Piggery Attendant

**We are recruiting for an Indoor Pig Stockperson for a farm in Cumbria (CA20).**

Our client operates a modern 750-sow indoor multiplication unit and is looking for a team member to help maintain very good performance.

All progeny is weaned off-site and go to their own grow-on centre. Only replacement gilts are kept on site after weaning.

It is a straw-based system scraped through with automatic feeders.

The unit is situated in a very picturesque area, with the local town only 3 miles away.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Previous pig husbandry experience
- Good communications skills
- Have enthusiasm and drive to want to succeed
- Attention to detail

**Salary guide: £35,000 - £40,000 doe**

**Hours**: 6:00 am - 5:00 pm, working every other weekend.
