An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive technical lead with experience with node and agile frameworks to lead the design, development, and implementation of software solutions, as well as maintaining a continuous improvement backlog, includingthe design of code, best practices, and automation tools.

**Ideal successful applicant will have Node Microservices experience using containers**

**What will you be doing**:

- Take ownership of all stages of software development
- Ensure you drive software construction with considerations towards brand needs, customer wants and appropriate software standards
- Proactively work towards pushing automation
- Contribute to the development of software design and architecture standards
- Ensure released processes and procedures are stuck to
- Provide mentorship and support to junior team members
- Collaborate with others on projects and functions and plan the quality management

**What skills/tech do you need?**
- Experienced in JavaScript/typescript
- Skilled in Node serverless microservices - ideally AWS Lambdas or alternatively containers managed through ECS or alike
- Background in AWS serverless development and deployment framework (AWS SAM, AWS CDK, etc)
- Skilled in React.js, Redux
- Unit testing framework, e.g., Jest
- Contract / API Testing
- Consumption of RESTful services, incl. JSON.
- Continuous integration - Source control: Git, build (Azure DevOps/Gitlab/Other), test, audit (SonarQube), deploy
- Agile development methodologies
