**Grounds Maintenance Operative**

Location: Head Office (Wokingham UK)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 08:00am - 16:30pm

**Salary**: £18,000 - £25,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our thriving UK Medical Manufacturing Company to work within our Buildings Department.

We are looking to recruit a Grounds Maintenance Operative to install and maintain the flowers, trees, green spaces and external areas of property.

You should know how to use and maintain landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers and fertilizers, while following Health and Safety Regulations. You will make sure our gardens and outdoor areas are always looking clean, healthy and beautiful.

**Essential Experience/Qualifications**:

- The ability to communicate in English (verbal and written)
- Experience as a professional Gardener/ Landscaper
- Familiarity with landscaping design
- Extensive knowledge of regional plant life
- Knowledge of local pests and how to eliminate them
- Knowledge of synthetic and natural fertilizers
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations for landscaping
- The ability to lift heavy objects
- The ability to remain on your feet for long periods of time
- A love of the outdoors and plant life
- **Ability to complete road surface repairs and fencing builds**

40 hours per week
Monday - Friday
08:00am - 16:30pm
