Are you a GP with solid experience in supporting patients with eating disorders or do you have a specialist interest/qualification in managing eating disorders? ThinkLocum is collaborating with a forward-thinking NHS service that provides support to vulnerable individuals suffering from eating disorders across East Lancashire.

This role is based in a community setting and caters to all age groups. Your primary responsibilities will include offering advice and guidance to GPs upon request, as well as providing assistance to the Eating Disorder Service itself. You will manage an appropriate clinical caseload and assume medical responsibility for specific areas of the service. Additionally, you will interpret blood results and ECGs and communicate as necessary with GPs. Monitoring and evaluating medical risk for service users, reviewing high-risk individuals, and requesting/performing relevant tests to ensure safe and timely care will also be part of your role.

Your expertise will support the team by providing medical risk and safety consultancy. Please note that having your own transportation is required for this position. Some aspects of the role may be conducted remotely from home.

**Details**:

- Days: Monday to Friday availability.
- Hours: 0800-1800, with flexibility for changes if needed.
- Service: NHS Community Services.
- Rate: Negotiable. We offer payment through either Ltd or PAYE, according to your preference, as the role falls outside of IR35 regulations.
