Dental Receptionist

**Job Summary**

We are a newly established private practice, with brand new modern surgeries and reception and fully digital practice. We are looking for a motivated and friendly individual to join our enthusiastic and growing team. The dental receptionist will be expected to work with minimum supervision, using their own initiative, and carry out duties in such a way as to make a direct and positive contribution to the practice and so aid the dental staff to maximise the use of their time.

Dental reception experience ideal, with experience of Dentally software (desired but not necessary).

**Key responsibilies**
- Deliver outstanding customer service and understand and recognise the vision for the practice.
- Welcome and assist patients arriving at the practice in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
- Ensure the reception desk is organised in an efficient manner.
- Provide general assistance to the Practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
- Ensure that the appointment system is efficient and accurate.
- Collect and record patient payments, and identify any outstanding debts.
- Help organise and monitor stock supplies and order new stock as required.
- Assisting in compliance tasks within the practice.
- Act in such a way that at all times safeguards the health and wellbeing of children and vulnerable adults, ensure all patient information is treated as confidential, and participate in appropriate training.
- Attend annual CPR training.
- Any other duties as required to ensure the efficient and safe running of the practice, whilst effectively communicating with the dental the dental team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: £11.00-£13.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Salford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Medical Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
