The role will be responsible for managing the effective and efficient operation of the MarketPlace. Key to this role is achieving the optimum level of fill, highest merchandising standards, control of shrinkage & accurate picking levels, whilst at all times ensuring health & safety procedures are adhered to, competencies and experience required to deliver the highest possible standards to our business.

Key responsibilities of the role (but not limited) to:

- To control the C&C replenishing team to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy.
- To record and be accurate with performance data
- Be responsible for stock availability, stock holding and stock loss
- Set team objectives & targets and monitor & feedback on performance on an ongoing basis
- Lead the team by example: ensuring effective communication, support and recognition structures and practices are in place
- To give a positive, enthusiastic approach to customers and colleagues
- Consider the welfare and well-being of staff and manage such areas as holidays, absences, overtime control and performance reviews
- Be responsible for all shift disciplinary/grievance issues and manage according to Company procedure
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and HACCP in the MarketPlace and Warehouse
- To be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment not only for yourself but for the benefit of others around you
- To ensure that you and your team are aware of Health and Safety procedures and accept all new policies and procedures that may come into place

**Essential Criteria**
- This person will have proven experience in a Wholesale/ Warehouse environment
- Proven experience of managing a team
- Proven experience of dealing with performance management issues
- Proven track record of effective resource management to maximise productivity.
- Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-moving commercial environment
- Reach Forklift Truck license
- Excellent planning, organisation and interpersonal skills.
- Self starter with a real go-getting attitude.
- Excellent Product knowledge
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Thorough approach to work with an acute focus on attention to detail
- Strong Team Player
- Strong people management skills
- Excellent PC Skills to include Microsoft Office

**Desirable Criteria**
- HACCP
- Basic food hygiene
- Previous nightshift experience
- Basic skill set with in house HHT's (Handheld Terminals
- First Aider training
- Experience of system use - BCP & Telnet
- Basic MS office skills (Excel, Word, Power Point)
