Seven Oaks Modular Limited, one of Wales’ leading and largest Timber Frame/Modular Manufacturers, has an exciting opportunity for an Offsite Construction QS/ Estimator to join our busy team.

You will be working closely with the existing Design, Commercial and Production teams to deliver projects based on our focus, including off-site manufacturing, panelised modular systems, floor joist systems, floor and roof cassette systems, roof trusses, flat roofs, insulated walls, thermal envelopes, timber frame super structures, timber engineering components and volumetric construction.

You will report into our Head of Production and Technical Efficiency and Operations Director.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

- Estimate a range of timber frame, panelised modular and volumetric projects for main contractors.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to include clients, architects, and other associated professionals.
- Deal with any project queries and provide additional technical information where required.
- Work closely with clients on all changes in scope, questions, or clarifications regarding the project, during the tendering process and to include any further alterations.
- Conduct take-offs and price different elements of a tender including finalising and completing inclusion schedule of works and associated tender return documents.
- Obtain competitive rates of costs to use in tender quotation liaising with SOM buying department.
- Organising and monitoring sub-contract work packages.
- Preparation of interim valuations and final accounts.
- Cost/Value reporting to senior management.
- Liaising with clients and attending monthly project meetings.
- General cost reporting/value engineering/contract administration.
- Work on projects with varying values from small extensions and one-off builds to large and sometimes complex sites.
- Ensure accurate documentation of orders, tenders and quotations are stored on our internal database.
- Always adhere to Company Policies and Procedures.

**Essential Skills**:

- Previous experience of estimating/Quantity Surveying within the construction or timber frame sector.
- Previous experience of measuring using a software package such as Quick Scale, AutoCAD or similar.
- Some technical knowledge and understanding of industry processes, governing body, and building legislation requirements, materials, and costs.
- Previous experience of using Excel.
- Excellent communicator written and verbal.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Previous timber frame or offsite-manufacturing experience. (Training provided if no previous experience).
- Valid UK driving license.

We are offering an extremely competitive salary depending on experience and skills. The role is full time and permanent, working 39 hours per week, with 33 days annual leave (pro rata and inclusive of bank holidays).
