**Night Transport Supervisor - West Thurrock**

Manpower Supply Chain Recruitment is now partnered with one the UK's leading providers of logistics and maintenance services to the mobile medical industry.

We are looking for a Night Transport Supervisor who has transport and logistics experience with good customer service, organisational, time management and administrative skills.

Working as the Night Transport Supervisor you will support the Transport Managers in understanding all tasks to meet both customer and business expectations. You will work the night shift, liaising with drivers to confirm their movements, logging data, liaisingwith customers and managing any general transport duties.

**Salary**

£28,000 per annum with an increase available upon completion of probationary period - Monthly pay

**Hours of Work**

Night Shift, 4 on / 4 off working pattern from 19:00hrs until 07:00hrs.

**Responsibilities**

Night Transport Supervisor responsibilities include:

- Dealing with an average of 35/45 routes per shift
- Contacting drivers at the start of the shift to confirm their movements.
- Monitoring drivers movements to ensure drivers arrive at their correct destination and that moves are carried out to plan
- Log arrival times on daily move spreadsheet
- Inputting the number of customer moves onto the relevant spreadsheets
- Calculate and log mileage of Quest vehicles
- Assisting with the daily vehicle planning in line with customer requirements
- Issuing of site maps to drivers as required
- Raising subcontractor requests for any fleet work undertaken and input these onto the website
- Work with the customer to ensure changes to activities are implemented and agreed upon where required
- Any other general transport office/admin duties

**Requirements**:
Night Transport Supervisor requirements include:

- Experience working within a transport environment
- Good understanding of driver regulations and compliance regulations would be advantageous
- CPC qualification would be advantageous
- Experience working within a very busy environment and sticking to strict delivery performance criteria set by the customer
- Your role will predominantly be based at the West Thurrock Depot although you may be required to work out of/visit any of our or our clients' sites/compounds as reasonably required.
