**Job Title: Ethical Hacker / Penetration Tester**
**Responsibilities**:
- **Vulnerability Assessment**:
- Utilize various tools and techniques to simulate cyber-attacks and penetration tests.
- **Penetration Testing**:
- Perform penetration testing on systems to discover and exploit security flaws.
- Simulate real-world cyber-attacks to assess the effectiveness of existing security measures.
- **Security Audits**:
- Conduct security audits and risk assessments to evaluate the overall security posture of an organization.
- Review and analyze security policies and procedures.
- **Security Research**:
- Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
- Engage in continuous research to discover new hacking techniques and potential security risks.
- **Report Generation**:
- Document and report findings from assessments and penetration tests.
- Provide clear and actionable recommendations for improving security.
- **Collaboration**:
- Work closely with other cybersecurity professionals, IT teams, and stakeholders to address identified vulnerabilities and implement security measures.
- **Training and Awareness**:
- Conduct training sessions to educate employees about cybersecurity best practices and potential threats.
- Create and deliver educational materials on security awareness.
- **Incident Response**:
- Assist in incident response activities by investigating security incidents and providing expertise in identifying the root cause.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), or similar.
- Proven experience in ethical hacking, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems, and cybersecurity principles.
- Familiarity with various hacking tools and techniques used by malicious actors.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent understanding of security concepts and protocols.
- Effective communication skills for reporting and interacting with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Ethical mindset and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
**Experience**:
- Typically, 1-3 years of experience in ethical hacking, penetration testing, or a related cybersecurity role.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £10.42-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
