**About The Role**:
Credit Control Team Leader

Nisbets celebrates its 40th anniversary this year and we have come a long way from humble beginnings in 1983 to the international company we are today. To ensure the business remains fully supported, we need to recruit an additional Credit Control Team Leader to develop and support our Credit and Sales Admin colleagues. As our Credit Control Team Leader, you will facilitate the smooth running of both Administration teams by providing essential support for their daily operations, including the execution of more advanced processes. Our Credit Control function is a dynamic team of individuals who thrive on giving an excellent service to our customers, making doing business with us an enjoyable experience. This team are integral to the sales cycle and work hard to ensure we work at pace and maintain our trading mentality mindset. We expect this role to suit someone looking to take on additional responsibility and share their knowledge with less experienced team members, you might be a Team Leader currently, or an experienced Credit Controller looking to take that step up.

The role of Credit Control Team Leader is offered on a job share basis, with the following working hours:
Mon 08:45 to 17:30, Tue 08:45 to 17:30, Wed 08:45 to 12:45

**What will I be doing as a Credit Control Team Leader?**
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the team, ensuring the achievement of daily targets aligned with business KPIs
- Oversee absence management processes, including conducting return-to-work meetings and managing holiday requests
- Handle the management of liquidation and administration paperwork
- Address escalated complaint calls, effectively resolving issues to maintain positive customer relationships

**About You**:
**What are we looking for in a Credit Control Team Leader?**
- Generalist experience working in a credit control function
- Knowledge of handing sensitive information, for example adherence to GDPR and PCI compliance
- Understanding of cash handling procedures relating to direct debit, BACS and cheque payments
- Knowledge and experience of detecting and managing fraud
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience or interest in, managing a team
- High level of computer literacy and able to pick up new systems quick, with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
