Sia Door Steward

**Introduction**

Beatbox Leisure Ltd was established in 2014 and our principal business activity is operating bars and nightclubs.

**Role Summary**

We have opportunities available for professional door stewards to join our venues, all of which are located in Ayr.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

As part of the security team, your role will include:

- Ensuring the safety of customers and staff at all times.
- Monitoring and managing crowds and queues.
- Dealing with enquiries from customers and members of the public in a polite and efficient manner.
- Responding appropriately to incidents within the queues or venues.
- Ensuring licensing laws are upheld.
- Maintaining a positive working relationship with local authorities and neighbouring venues.

**Qualifications and Experience**

Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a similar role is preferred.

Strong understanding of first aid procedures or be first aid trained.

Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.

Weekly shifts as required over Monday - Sunday evenings.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.50 per hour

- Ayr, KA7 1QJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- security: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- SIA (preferred)
