Care Assistant

We are looking for Care Assistants to work in our busy Lenton, Radford and base ford, based care settings. As QS Care Assistant you will be tasked with completing care roles in the various care settings that we work with, in a given area. Service users may suffer with age related illnesses such as Alzheimer’s or dementia Due to the nature of the role there will be moving, and handling involved and personal care involved. You will also support with nutritional requirements.

Additional responsibilities include household tasks such as helping with cooking, feeding, and cleaning.

- Have two employment references, one of which must be from a care home setting
- Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. practical moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service.
- Have a range of experience in the use of Hoists, Slings and Rotundas
- Have a minimum of 6 months paid UK work experience working within a residential care home.
- Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
