Waitress/waiter

We are an Italian and Greek restaurant based in Penshaw. We are looking for individuals that have a individual with flexible hours, who enjoys working as a member of a team and can present themselves professionally. This position will be for our current venue in Penshaw.

Need to have good stamina, physical strength and determination to work for an entire shift. Need to work quickly under fast-paced environment and remain well-mannered and polite, even when dealing with difficult customers. Needs to have perseverance, patience and good communication skills.

What we are looking for:

- Great communication skills both verbal and written
- Attention to details and the ability to work fast under pressure
- Honesty and ability to handle transactions in a trustworthy manner
- Being over the age of 18 and having familiarity with local alcohol restrictions and laws
- Excellent customer service skills

**Duties**:

- Greeting customers, showing them to a table and introducing them to the menus
- Taking the customers’ orders - being vigilant of allergies and dietary requirements
- Confirming that the food items match the orders and delivering them at the tables
- Inquiring if the customers are satisfied, giving bills and processing payments
- Cleaning and resetting tables for the next customer
- Making Teas and Coffees

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £7.49-£10.45 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
