Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team atThe Riverside Pantry. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and menu specifications
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking ingredients
- Maintain knowledge of current menu items, specials, and food preparation techniques
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure customer satisfaction
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Cook or similar role in a restaurant or culinary setting
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
- Strong understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
