**About us**

The Hideaway Cafe is a small cafe located in the centre of Melbourn, SG8 6DZ. We have been open since the beginning of the year and need to expand our workforce. We are a small not-for-profit business with strong community values. The cafe, while small, means that we are a very social space in a relaxed environment where we can put a strong focus on our customers.

Our work environment includes:

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve coffee drinks and other beverages.
- Greet customers and take orders.
- Prepare a range of simple breakfast and lunch items.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow health and safety regulations.
- Follow opening up/closing up the cafe procedures.
- Keep track of inventory and restock supplies as needed.
- Answer customer questions about menu items and beverages.
- Provide excellent customer service.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour
