We’re looking for an experienced Content Writer to join our passionate and expanding digital team.

As a content writer, you will be responsible for creating, reviewing and editing SEO optimised content for website and digital projects including writing landing page and blog post content about industry-related topics for both our company and our clients. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with digital publishing and generating traffic and leads for new business. You will be responsible for carrying out keyword research and implementing these into the content to gain maximum exposure in SERPs. You are expected to work simultaneously with the digital team to maintain consistency with web project deliverability. You will be a confident communicator capable of working with a range of customers and colleagues.

Full-time
Hybrid (Minimum of 2 days a week at our Retford location)

**Salary**: £25,000-£35,000, dependent on experience

Key responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

- Researching and writing content for a range of web and digital projects with a focus on SEO
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting strict deadlines
- Writing effective and engaging content that is tailored to each project/client
- Working with the digital team to gain and understanding of any goals/targets and developing content strategies accordingly
- Optimising SEO driven content and increasing site traffic (on-page and via Yoast)
- Measuring and monitoring website performance and traffic to highlight action points and upsell opportunities
- Ensuring that the content is compliant with the copyright and data protection laws
- Maintaining consistency and ensuring content aligns with each brand
- Identifying customers needs and writing content to cater for their requirements
- Conducting research on key SEO search terms and incorporating them into the content to achieve maximum performance
- Researching industry-related topics

Key skills
- Experience as a content creator in prior roles, creating strong and engaging content
- Understanding of SEO best practices
- Prior job experience in web traffic metrics, HTML and web publishing
- Proficiency with content management systems and analytics software (WordPress, Google Analytics etc)
- Excellent writing, proofreading and communication skills
- Detail oriented work with good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced agency
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work efficiently maintaining high quality and accuracy
- Goal oriented and customer oriented
- Multi-project management skills, adhering to timelines and performing under pressure to achieve the targets
- Good attention to detail along with a creative mind

As a project manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our web projects from the initial scoping sessions to the completion of a project. You will work closely with both our web design and web development teams as well as directly with our clients, managing production and ensuring projects are delivered to the agreed timeframes. To be successful, you should have experience within an agency environment working in a similar role and have excellent time management skills as well as being organised, self-motivated and driven. You will be a crucial member of the team, responsible for communicating with our team and our clients, maintaining relationships and ensuring our digital projects are delivered on-time and to the highest quality.

- Working with the web team on a daily basis
- Working and liaising with clients to understand their business objectives, needs and challenges
- Ensuring projects remain on schedule to the agreed timeframes
- Managing production and ensuring all parties are up-to-date with any changes
- Identifying upsell opportunities throughout the project to drive new business
- Ensuring that all work is produced to the highest quality before presenting to clients
