**Role**:

- Permanent, full-time, day shift, factory and site delivery locations (usually within 20 mile radius)
- Core hours: Monday-Friday (37hr week) - 07:30-16:00 Mon-Thurs. 07:30-12:30 Friday

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- Receiving orders/checking them in
- Ensure that goods are checked off in an accurate and timely manner and check for damages and quantity.
- Update computer system to enable accurate stock levels.
- Put materials away in stores after deliveries and segregate according to customer requirements.
- Maintaining stock levels of Site consumables
- Delivering orders to customers (generally 20 miles radius of factory but occasional longer distances)
- Ensure checks to verify stock levels for re-ordering are accurate and appropriate.
- Get materials out ready for collection and for the issuing to jobs, using the IT equipment provided.
- Assist with stock checks when required.
- Keep stores clean and tidy.
- Keep log of returns.
- Ensure internal and external customers receive a courteous service.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials onto vehicles and assist colleagues in this task where necessary.
- Ensure all materials are secure on the vehicles to enable safe transportation and to avoid any loss or damage.
- Manage the skips on site, ensuring that materials are correctly disposed of in the appropriate skips to maximise recycling possibilities.
- Must be willing to undertake forklift truck and overhead crane training as required.
- Notify Skip Company when skips require emptying
- Punctual, professional and a company ambassador
- Ability to _get on with the job_, using knowledge, skills, and experience to make informed decisions

**Experience & Qualifications**

Essential
- Full UK clean driving license
- Knowledge of local geographical area
- Warehouse and stock control experience
- IT literate with Microsoft 365 packages
- Good time management, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to keep a tidy and productive workshop.
- Experience of working in a similar role, involving work in stores, driving and yard responsibilities for a minimum of two years, or equivalent experience.
- A knowledge of good practice relating to Health and Safety Regulations.
- Knowledge of Waste Recycling
- Computer literate and knowledge of stock systems
- Methodical and organised and able to work on own initiative.
- A Forklift licence (Desirable)

Desirable
- Sage software knowledge
- Forklift experience with certification
- Overhead crane experience with certification
- Previous industry experience preferred, but not essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£22,001.00 per year
