We are looking to recruit a new cheesemaker to join our small friendly team on a **full time permanent basis, **making our wide range of cow, sheep and goat milk cheeses.

The job role covers all aspects of cheesemaking from production through to maturation, cleaning equipment and premises as required, completion of associated records and documentation. From filling the curd into the moulds to cleaning and disinfecting cheese making equipment, removing cheeses from cheese molds, brining cheese, vacuum packing, cheese dicing, cheese turning etc. Also helping the cheese packing team when required.

This would suit a person, who is methodical, can work quickly and accurately, with a good understanding of hygiene procedures and good attention to detail.

The successful applicant will be someone who is excited by the process of turning milk into cheese.

Must be reliable and a good time keeper.

This is a varied and physical role, on your feet all day, with some heavy lifting every day. It is a full time position, with the possibility of working some weekends on a rota basis
