We are looking for a diligent Media Designer to join our Training Team at Hartree Centre. We are responsible for the delivery of a range of training courses in the digital innovation space, designed to meet the needs of organisations of varying sizes.

**About the Role**
You will be situated in the Training Team, which is a part of Professional Services, at Hartree Centre, STFC. You will be working closely with the Training Assurance lead and the LMS Technical support.

The role requires an understanding and awareness of the training needs in the industry sectors where Hartree Centre operates. You will be involved with the engagement for industry, adhering to Hartree Centre quality assurance standards.

**Duties Include**:

- Design and develop creative, experiential, learner-centred, eLearning modules and videos for technical training materials.
- Seek opportunities for re-use of existing materials.
- Maintain accurate records for the duration of the projects.
- Effectively participate in multiple projects and initiatives.

**Key Requirements**
- Education in Media Design, Education Technology or similar field or have equivalent prior experience.
- Industry engagement either for training/teaching or in media production.
- Ability to engage with collaborators of academic background
- Experience in using software to produce videos from PowerPoint presentations, video recording of presentations through videoconferencing systems or in studio, video editing, graphic design
- Excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to gain new technical skills quickly.

- Willing to mentor Hartree Centre colleagues to provide guidance and feedback on how multimedia is used in course development.

- Ability to travel occasionally and flexible approach to working hours.
- Creative and imaginative approach to work
