Warehouse Operative/ Reach and Counterbalance Driver

This is a temporary vacancy leading to a permanent contract

Total Recruit are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join the team at of a well established market leader in the production of recyclable products. The purpose of the role is to maintain the business performance targets through the efficient handling of all goods, ensuring the quality of Goods Received to include safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials to feed business operations and customer demand by utilizing the automated Warehouse Management System.

Duties and Skills Required:

- 2 years’ experience working in a similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licenses (not in house)
- Strong IT skills to include use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Knowledge and experience of Warehouse Management Systems
- Knowledge of Parcel Courier and Transport Booking Systems
- Understanding of Export Orders and procedures required post Brexit
- Conscientious with a high standard of Safety
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Knowledge and Understanding of Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems
- Manual Handling Training
- Experience of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and standard operating procedures
- Flexible, positive attitude to work with proactive problem solving skills
- GCSE Math’s & English (C and above)
