**SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant - FULL TIME**

**Location**: Biggleswade

**Pay**: £80-£90 per day (PAYE only)

**Hours**: 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday (Term time only)

DegreeSix are looking for confident SEN Learning Support Assistant for SEND pupils within ASD Provision of a large mainstream primary school in a Town just outside of Bedfordshire. This primary school are undergoing some big changes and will need resilient 1:1 Learning Support Assistants to work closely with KS1 & KS2 students. We are looking for experienced staff ready to support. The students will have severe learning difficulties such as ASD, Speech and Language difficulties, ADHD, SEMH, and other severe learning difficulties so promoting good communication skills is a key element for this position.

**The Role**:

- Supporting Key Stage 1&2 pupils who need extra support with their academic and social skills.
- Assisting with tailored individualised EHCP’s
- Providing support 1:1 to different students with Learning difficulties through-out the school day.
- Lunch time supervision.

**To be successful**:

- Driving license is preferred but not a necessity
- Experience with learning difficulties such as SEMH, Autism, ADHD or other Complex Needs
- Patience and passionate about supporting students with special needs.
- Ability to work within a team and contribute positively.
- Experience with Makaton could be useful.
