Do you have a hands-on agricultural background? If so you may want to become **Farm Assessor** and join **Intertek SAI Global Agriculture** division on a sub-contractor basis or zero hours basis, in the **West Sussex area** with a focus on Beef, Lamb, Dairy and Combinable Crops.

**ABOUT COMPANY**

**Intertek SAI Global **utilises its globally recognised brand to mitigate risks across organisations’ processes, operations and supply chains. It provides Assurance services, including management systems certification and second party audits across a wide variety of end-markets. In addition to management systems certifications, SAI Global Assurance has a particularly strong position in the Food, Agriculture and QSR end-markets, as well as a good presence in environmental & sustainability audits.

**ABOUT YOU**

Due to the nature of the position, the ability to empathise and communicate with customers is crucial, alongside a farming background with exposure to Beef, Lamb and Dairy
- Formal Qualification/Degree in Agriculture or a related field is desirable
- Relevant experience working with associated Agriculture area (cattle/sheep/crops/organics etc) or in industry. Additionally, experience with any Red Tractor scheme would also be desirable
- Good communication, IT and organizational skills
- Strong writing and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated

**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**

**As a Farm Assessor,** you will be required to plan and conduct professional Red Tractor audits to enable the delivery of assessment and certification services that meet customer requirements
- To carry out Red Tractor accredited audit programmes with a focus on Beef, Lamb, Dairy and Combinable Crops audits
- To deliver specific client training programmes and on-the-job coaching, where required.
- To provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to our clients.
- To fully follow the Audit Brief for all audits undertaken, ensuring audit specific requirements are met.
- To accurately complete all paperwork, handheld data capture forms, and other documentation, as required, for each client audit/visit.
- To progress actions speedily and report delays in completion to any agreed timescales

**Zero hours contract, flexible working hours, paid per audit. West Sussex area.**
