The College of Engineering, Design and Physical Sciences is seeking to appoint an Administrator at its National Structural Integrity Research Centre (NSIRC) based at TWI Cambridge. This post provides dedicated support for all academic staff, masters students and Doctoral Researchers based on site, as well as operational support for the Centre.
The post holder will be responsible for delivering the operational and administrative processes that support these programmes, including responding to complex queries and accurate and timely student record management and responding to complex queries. You will be required to ensure the Centre operates smoothly through active and practical problem-solving.
Reporting jointly to the Associate Director (Education Operations) (based at the Uxbridge campus) and the Project Manager (Contracts) (based at TWI Cambridge), you will work closely with academic colleagues within the College, TWI partners, as well as professional services colleagues across the institution, to ensure the highest levels of support are provided.
Due to the structure and organisation of the Centre, you must have a proven ability to work independently through remote line management.
Some travel to the Brunel University campus, based in Uxbridge Middlesex will be required.
Experience of using key University systems such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, SITS and e-Vision would be highly beneficial, but is not essential.
**Salary**: £30,487.00-£32,332.00 per year
