An opportunity has arisen for us to be able to a offer positions out for network cabling..

The role will include physically testing the underground network using rods to test duct sections, pole bends etc to establish what if any blockages need to be cleared. Full roping of all clear sections, photo’s of blockages and which duct in the U/G boxes have issues. The drawing of A55’s will also be required showing the location of the blockages and issues. Other proving responsibilities will include looking at O/H routes to establish if tree cutting on the sections will be required and if the poles are in good condition and have no ‘D’ markings on them. All the proving will be done using a comprehensive pack of the network showing all sections needed to be proved, and also some electronic tablet use. This will all be sent back to the Client for approval of network repair and new plant where necessary.

Experience in the communications industry and the following accreditation's would be beneficial:

- SA002
- N28
- K8
- SLG unit 2 if already held

Full UK manual driving license held for 2 years is essential for the role as travel will be required and being able to stay away overnight where the work is out of local commutable distances.
