Summary

You must:

- have high expectations for all children to achieve their best from their relative starting points
- be able to support the class teacher in delivering exciting lessons to build upon prior learning
- be able to form good relationships with children based upon a 'trauma-informed' approach, always seeking the best for the whole child
- have experience of delivering intervention programmes (for example in phonics)
- have excellent organisational and inter-personal skills when working as part of a team
- be flexible in your approach - having a positive 'can do' attitude
- be pro-active in promoting our School's vision and values all day, every day

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
- Teaching Assistant Level 2b or equivalent
- GCSE maths and English Grade C or equivalent

Essential Experience
- Experience of working with or caring for children
- Experience of working in a relevant classroom/service environment
- Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour

Desirable Experience
- Experience of administrative work
- Experience of practising a 'trauma-informed' approach when responding to pupils' need
